Zooey Deschanel was a co-host at Barack Obama's "Election Night Celebration" in Los Angeles. She also performed live with her fiance at the Manifest Hope show for the Democratic National Convention. Her support for Barack Obama puts her in line with many liberal, upper-middle class people who can identify with the star in terms of both politics and popular culture.
